Geocaching

Today my son and I went geocaching. If you are not aware to what geocaching is have a look at this site http://www.geocaching.com. I downloaded an apt for my palm pre plus that worked pretty well, with its GPS, the town I live in isn’t huge so we don’t have very good 3G coverage. But with the use of Google Maps, and my knowledge of the town I grew up in, this was very easy! I think that it would be very easy for anyone to do, it’s great summer exercise and it’s FREE. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, Free. People go out and place these ‘caches’ for others to find, for Free. My son and I plan on getting good at this and then placing some of our own out for others to find. It’s one big game of hide and seek with today’s technology!

 So, off we went. He was not aware of what we were going to do, i just told him i had a surprise for him I wanted to start with something simple so i picked some that were in town, or on the outskirts of town. The first one we got to we could not find, I think it was just a tricky one; we are going to try again tomorrow. The second one was blocked by some additions to our towns Greenway (http://www.cheyennecity.org/index.aspx?nid=207 in case you want to check it out) but its super close to our house so we can visit that one later this summer. By this time my son was getting a little let down, at 8 he’s a pretty good sport but he really was geared up for this and I could tell he was a little let down. So I said, okay let’s get back in the car, eat our granola, drink some h2o and try it one more time today. The next one was a super success! When we found it he was so excited, we took his picture with the log. Then I asked the question that makes or break this fun summer activity, did he want to do one more? His eyes lit up and he said “YES” so off we went again! After the next one we called it a day and headed home to make dinner, what’s for dinner you ask? Well, it’s Ez chicken Tortilla Bake, I am proud to say that it I made my weekly dinner schedule and 3days in and we have kept it on track Yay us!!! I Let My Inner Child Off its Leash

Today I unleashed my inner 3rd grader. Yes, 3rd grader.

I got in a sword fight with my hubby to be, meaning i hit him with a plastic sword for about 5mins. During this sward fight, i made cool sound effects (such as swoosh, clank, slash, and a light saber sound), and poked and slashed him, that was, until he took it from me and i ran, like a mad woman. He caught me, and then it was my turn for the sharp end of the sward, but he wasn't as fun at it as i was, not one sound effect. So, I jumped and yell Ahhhhhh, then landed on him and squished him, screaming squishy squishy squishy.. then the chair he was sitting on made a loud pop..i was startled.. i fell off. It was okay though, one of the kids easter baskets broke my fall..poor poor easter bunny.

I often find myself acting like this on Mondays.

Why, you ask?

Mondays, suck.

If we didn't have Mondays, Tuesday would suck and so on and so forth.

So, my hubby to be is off work on Monday's, one of the children is at school, one child is napping.. so it only seems right to unleash my inner 3rd grader, we need some kind of entertainment.. or at least i do. I don't think that my soon to be hubby is that fond of my inner 3rd grader but Hey, he plays along.

So, with general deducing rules, its all his fault, for encouraging me to be a 3rd grader. For this I love him more.

I think that all of you should practice the ritual of unleashing your inner 3rd grader on Monday. We will call it inner child play day, i think i have found the cure for Mondays. Your Welcome!

Life

Sometimes its a noise outside, Other times its a noise inside, but sometimes its a giant step in your life. Either way, you Freak out and usually make a ass of your self.

I Just do not understand, paths...

you cant help but back track from some,

You cant just Set them all on Fire, why?

I do not frickin know, i didnt write that rule.

I want to burn them, smash them, not make new ones, and just Set Up Camp.

Forget the tomorrow, forget the plans, forget the goals, forget the future and most of all forget The Path.

Ugh.. Paths only lead to more Paths, From now on My Paths Lead to the Same place they stared at ike Never ending circles.

Ugh..Homework

I cannot get to my homework.

I just cant.

I have been sick all week, and well now that I have to have my homework done..

Class is tomorrow.. I cannot make my self do it.

I believe this is why i did not want to finish college in the first place..Homework.

I got other things to do at home, laundry, cooking, cleaning..

well yeah i try to do that shit...

but really i have to mess around on FB who said what and what smart ass thing can i reply too.

Look up music videos on YouTube.

Check and read blogs i missed and laugh till I almost pee my pants.

Play the Xbox with my son and realize that i need to figure out some more game time in my life, my 8 year old is kicking my ass!

Drink some Yummy Gatorade (because I am super addicted to Gatorade, I love it and drink like 64 or more oz a day!)and eat some bubblicious.. O r g i n a l!

Make a new play list to do my homework too, then get new head phones because i cannot find the ones i like.

Feed the now 'starving' child who i might add ate like 15 mins ago..

Then write a blog about how i should be doing my homework.

Ugh..

I guess i will go do my homework now..

My Friends erumm Family.

My friends are like family to me, i love them even when they are stupid. My friends always know that they can expect nothing but the honest truth from me. I usually soften the blow of my honesty the first round, but after that if you keep asking it doesn't get nicer. After all these would be my fact based opinions and i will express them as needed/wanted.
